According to Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) officials, all beneficaries will receive aid in there digital wallet. Now you don’t need to visit the BISP centers physically. Just register once, get your digital wallet active and receive aid digitaly in your SIM (digital wallet).
This modern system has many benefits and it has solve the biggest issue of transparency that was being faced by BISP officials. As in past, shopkeepers and BISP agents lotted the BISP beneficiaries and deduct money in the name of commission or withdraw fee from each woman aid. But now time has changed and fund receiving method is also changed.
BISP 8171 Digital Wallet
To make sure the beneficiaries are getting full amount of aid the BISP officials have introduce Digital Wallet system. It is a digital bank account that is register on the beneficiary CNIC. But instead of visiting the bank, the beneficiary will receive the funds in there SIM card (a special mobile number) given to beneficiary.

BISP 8171 Digital Wallet Registration
Beneficiaries need to follow 5 basic steps to Register for BISP 8171 Digital Wallet. Only those beneficiaries which are eligible for BISP program and getting the aid will be register successfully for Digital Wallet. Here you have to start from initial steps:
Step 1: Check Eligibility
First of all, you need to check whether you are eligible for BISP aid or not. For this, use the SMS method (send your CNIC number to 8171) or use the official BISP portal.
Note: Only eligible persons proceed to second step.
Step 2: NSER Survey
In case you have completed the NSER survey then it is well and good, otherwise go for the NSER survey and visit the BISP center to get your registration complete through NSER survey.
Step 3: Get Register SIM
Register a SIM card on your CNIC so that it would be assigned to your name and your future funds will be transfer to that SIM card into the Digital Wallet that will be created on that SIM.
Note: Register number will be consider as digital wallet number.
Step 4: Digital Wallet Activation
Your digital wallet will be automatically create by BISP officials on your registered phone number. That’s why, I suggest you to give your CNIC register number to BISP while NSER survey. For further verification you mask ask to visit the BISP center.
Step 5: Get BISP Payment in Wallet
Finally, after getting a personal Digital Wallet your BISP funds will be credit in it whenever government of Pakistan gives new installment. On the other hand, you can withdraw this money via agent by sending him amount or through ATM by sending amount from your SIM to your bank account.
