In Pakistan, telecom networks have a fixed system to provide SIM cards to their users. Basically, you must have to register any SIM card before going to use it. Hence, the network requires a CNIC (ID Card) number, on which the officials register the SIM.

SIM Information System (Details)
Many of us still don’t know about this wonderful site. It is a database connected with the original sources of Jazz, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor where our SIM cards are registered. Moreover, by providing our ID Card number, we can inquire about the number of SIM cards running (register) on our CNIC card.
We often don’t know “how many SIM cards are registered” in our name. Hence, it is an all-in-one and free method to inquire about our total SIM card registration running in the PTA database.
1st Trick – CNIC SIM Check
You just need the Pakistani CNIC Card of the person whose SIM cards you want to check. In addition, the officials have added the “Foreign ID” option on this portal. Hence, you can also check by entering the foreign identity number.
- Open the SIM Information System portal
- Now enter your CNIC number & resolve the captcha
- Click “Submit” and know how many SIM cards are present in your name
It is a 100% working and free method that is officially launch by the Government of Pakistan. Hence, it is an authentic method, and it is legal to inquire your the number of SIM cards register on your CNIC through this method.

2nd Trick – Call on PTA Helpline
The PTA 668 officials have launched the on-network & off-network helpline numbers for all networks. Hence, you can call on the helpline and inquire about the SIM Information System Details for free.

If you call the helpline through the network, it then calls on short-code. On the other hand, in case of calling from another network, please dial the 9-digits code present along with the short code.

Type your CNIC number without any space and send it to 668. This is the SMS trick that works and gives full info about the number of SIMs registered on your ID card. It is also a SIM Information System that works.
